Founder :

Philip Li

In the early 1990s, Philip Li received a professional systematic study of dance sports in the UK. In 1993 and 1994 he obtained the certificates from Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and International Dance Teachers' Association (IDTA).  In April 2000, he was admitted as a senior fellow of the Royal Dance Teachers' Association in the UK.  In 2010, he was awarded the Person of the Year Award by the Royal Association of Dance Teachers. He once served as the vice chairman of the headquarters of the International DanceSport Association (IDSA) and the chairman of the Asia region.

He has been engaged in dance sports education for more than 30 years. The students he trained have participated in the Blackpool World Dance Sport Festival and won awards many times, and have achieved excellent results in various dancesport competitions around the world.

Since 2001, Philip Li has paid attention to and participated in the development of wheelchair dance. He firmly believes that people with disabilities can also dance gracefully and wonderfully!

In order to have more disabled people to benefit from dance sport activities, Philip Li founded the non-profit organization "American Para DanceSport Association", creating dance opportunities for them and organizing international para dance sport competition. Hoping to unite more caring groups in the society to help disabled people participate in dance sport.
